Project Description

As an automation engineer on the reverse osmosis commissioning project, responsibilities included configuring programmable logic controllers PLCs (Siemens ET 200 Sp ) to automate system operations, optimizing control loops to ensure stable flow and pressure, and establishing communication protocols for seamless integration with DCS Yokogawa systems. This setup enabled real-time monitoring of critical parameters such as conductivity, Ph degree, ORP, temperature, and pressure, essential for maintaining high-quality permeate production. The role involved conducting extensive testing to validate system response and functionality, troubleshooting issues in collaboration with instrumentation and mechanical teams, and fine-tuning operational sequences to enhance efficiency. Additionally, start-up procedures were documented for future maintenance, ensuring a smooth handover and ongoing system reliability. These efforts contributed to the effective commissioning and continuous operation of the reverse osmosis system, achieving optimal water quality standards and operational efficiency.
